In 2018, I designed and developed the microsite for Médecins Sans Frontières’ International Women’s Day campaign.
I created the looping background video for the landing screen, and also came up with the name of the campaign ‘Because I’m a woman”. I was also involved in a small team making editing decisions for each of the videos included in the package.
The medical communications objective of the package, which was shared worldwide and republished in French, Arabic and German, was to raise awareness of the medical humanitarian needs of women and girls when they are forced to flee. The occasion of International Women’s Day was leveraged for that objective.
